Dr. Douglas Haigh is a Connecticut native and attended Lynchburg College where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Haigh’s professional education was at the New England College of Optometry in Boston where his specialty training included primary eye care, management of eye disease, sports vision, low vision, cataract surgery co-management, and specialty contact lens fittings. Dr. Haigh is a member of the American Optometric Association, Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the Optometric Council on Refractive Technology.
In his free time, Dr. Haigh plays basketball, volleyball and cycles. He enjoys exercise and cooking. Dr. Haigh also likes to volunteer for the Special Olympics in Connecticut and Massachusetts and is passionate about community health screenings and public seminars.
