Specializations
Dr. Kapadia is an ophthalmic plastic surgeon who has had extensive training in eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery. He specializes in cosmetic surgery of the upper and lower eyelids as well as Botox and Restylan injections.
Education & Training
Dr. Kapadia earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Harvard Medical school based at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. His residency training was followed by a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Boston Medical Center. In addition to his clinical training, he spent several year doing research in the field of visual perception and was awarded a ph.D in neuroscience in addition to his M.D.degree.
Affiliations
Dr. Kapadia is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is an assistant professor at Tufts University School of medicine. He operates at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, and Caritas-St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Brighton. In addition, he performs surgery at various outpatient centers in Andover, Waltham and Dedham. A member of the center for Aesthetic eyelid and Facial surgery at the New England Eye Center, Dr. Kapadia is also recognized as an author of several research publications and textbook chapters in his field.
