Dr. Rodney Immerman is a certified Optometrist and has been practicing exclusively low vision since 1982. He is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He has spent the last 34 years designing low vision devices for reading, distance, occupational and recreational tasks. He also designs low vision glasses for driving and computer use and prescribes electronic magnification devices for reading. He refers patients, as necessary, to low vision occupational therapy and to appropriate state agencies and organizations to maximize their function.
