Billing Coordinator
Specific Responsibilities:
- Daily processing of professional services claims
- Accurate and timely posting of insurance and patient remittance
- Timely follow-up with insurers, including an appeal of all denied or non-paid claims
- Review Accounts Receivables reports
- Speak to patients about balance inquiries and set-up payment plans as needed
- Other tasks as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of A/R medical billing and collections experience preferred
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding is a plus
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team environment.
- Must be able to multi Task in a fast pace environment
- Reliable and dependable

Full-Time Licensed Optician
Exciting opportunity for a Full-Time licensed optician to join a multi-specialty/multi-location ophthalmology practice, in our beautiful and newly renovated office. This position requires excellent sales ability, friendly, caring personality, and flexibility. Knowledge of frame board management/inventory and insurance plans required, and EMR a plus. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
We are open Monday – Friday (evening hours on Tuesdays)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Full Time – 40 Hours with full company benefits after 90 days, Mon – Fri with some Saturday AM rotation
Part Time – up to 29 hours a week, flexible hours with selective company benefits after 90 days.
Office Hours –
Monday 7:00-3:30pm,
Tuesday 10-6:30pm,
Wednesday 8:30-5pm,
Thursday 8:30-5pm,
Friday 7-3:30pm,
Saturday 8-12pm.

Patient Advocate (Refractive Surgical Coordinator)

The patient advocate is responsible for assisting the patient with all aspects of the surgery process in order to make the surgical experience as smooth as possible for the patient, and acts as an effective liaison between the patient, surgeon, referring doctor, and the surgical facility.

- Provide support to multiple surgeons
- Explain the lens and technology options to cataract patients
- Discuss out of pocket and elective procedures, such as LASIK
- Coordinate paperwork and details with ambulatory surgery center
- Obtain insurance referrals and prior authorizations for surgical procedures
- Must be willing to work within the surgery scheduling/coordinator team
