Nitasha Khanna, M.D.
Dr. Khanna is a LASIK/Cataract surgeon and Cornea specialist at the Nielsen Eye Center. She strives to establish a personal plan for patients that is in line with the unique goals they have for their vision. She also aims to bring the most advanced technology to her patients to optimize their eye care and outcomes.
Education and Training
Dr. Khanna graduated from a seven year BA/MD program at Temple University and Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. While there, she was nominated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, which acknowledges medical students in the top of each graduating class. Dr. Khanna then went on to complete her medical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, a UPenn affiliate. She completed her Ophthalmology residency at Brown University, during which she traveled nationally and internationally to several large academic conferences for her research endeavors. Dr. Khanna completed her training at the University of Maryland for a Cornea and External Disease fellowship where she learned from leaders in the field.
